This questioning of traditional methods can also be found in the so-called Mailed Paintings, raw canvasses which travel through the globalised art market unprotected and thereby conserve the traces of transportation. Karin Sander’s work has been shown in internationally important institutions such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York or the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart. The exhibition at the Kunst Museum Winterthur mediates a comprehensive insight into Sander’s sensual investigations of art.

Curators: Konrad Bitterli, Simona Ciuccio Events taking place around this exhibition
See agenda Kunst Museum Winterthur
Beim Stadthaus
8400 Winterthur
Get directions 1605 Tue 10 am–8 pm
Wed to Sun 10 am–5 pm
Monday closed 1607 CHF 19 / 15 (reduced)
With the ticket you can visit all three museums.

Details 1606

Although it is intense at a conceptual level, Karin Sander’s work seems light and playful.
