The Kunst Museum Winterthur and the Kunsthalle Winterthur are organising the December exhibition 2025 in collaboration with the Winterthur Artists’ Group. The exhibition will feature works by artists who apply in response to a public call for entries and are selected by a jury. Applications to participate are now being accepted. The deadline for registration is 25 August 2025.

All active members of the Winterthur Artists’ Group and professional artists who have a connection to the Winterthur region, live or work here, or are citizens of Winterthur are eligible to participate. Guest artists at Villa Sträuli who are staying there at the time of the jury’s decision or the exhibition opening are also eligible to participate.

Prize Galerieverein. Friends of Kunst Museum Winterthur
The Galerieverein Winterthur is donating an art prize worth CHF 10,000 in 2025. A five-member jury will select a work from the December exhibition: Overview 2025. The artist or collective will be presented with the Gallery Association Prize at the exhibition opening. The prize includes an invitation to the December exhibition: Overview 2027.
