Galaxy Evolution Melody is the title given by the Zurich artist duo Andres Lutz & Anders Guggisberg to their three-part video work from 2012. On flat screens mounted on the wall, bizarre pictorial compositions of studio scrap, everyday and found objects can be experienced, which come to life only to become disrupted entirely in the next moment, while at the same time undermining any claim to validity of a classic work of art.

Andres Lutz (*1968 in Wettingen, Germany) and Anders Guggisberg (*1966 in Biel, Switzerland) are artists who are virtually free exploiters in various creative fields: installation, painting, photography, and texts. In recent years they have appeared in numerous exhibitions, amongst others in 2008 in the Aargauer Kunsthaus, the IKON Gallery, Birmingham, and the Museum Folkwang, Essen, as well as 2013 in the MUDAM, Luxembourg. In their expansive installations and interventions, the most diverse imaginative worlds enter into idiosyncratic connexions that question traditional concepts of art and create their own artistic cosmos.

In the Kunst Museum Winterthur, Lutz & Guggisberg integrate themselves into the collection and with their intrusions create an abysmal parallel exhibition that lustfully deconstructs the classical canon of art.
